I noticed this when replacing pre-meson 9.21 installation with a
post-meson one. Remove the /usr/local/bin/named-compilezone file and
run the meson install command again.

While that is of course doable, "should I have to"?
I guess that's philosophical question whether it is wise to keep files from old version lying around in your filesystem, or whether removing old version first is a good practice.

Personally I'm surprised by this problem. It should not be an issue since package managers were invented ...
