Thanks for the quick reply and info. Yes that looks like exactly what I meant. To further clarify with a real world example - Charter/Spectrum ISP here in the US does this for their IPv6. Here is one of their real prefixes but with a made up right hand side: vom@ice:~$ dig +short -x 2605:a000:dfc0:1234::5678 2605-a000-dfc0-1234-0000-0000-0000-5678.inf6.spectrum.com.
