Pakai Archive boleh juga sih... Prinsipnya archive hanya memindah dari 1 pst ke pst lain, based on received date. Misal kita bikin satu folder khusus Archive "Archive Folder" disamping "Inbox", dan diset otomatis email yang sudah berumur 7 hari atau lebih, dipindah ke archive Folder, maka otomatis email yang sesuai dengan kriteria itu, akan dipindah. Cuma kalau archive, menurut saya Cuma 'memindah masalah' Pst Inbox nya kecil, tapi pst archive nya besar.
Archive bisa membuat inbox kecil... tapi akan merepotkan kita kalau mau mencari satu message, harus carinya di folder archive dan di folder inbox, kecuali kita tahu persis message yang kita cari datang nya kapan. Alternatif lain nih - mumpung lagi suka berpikiran out of the box - bikin banyak folder, bukan sub folder dari Inbox. Tapi banyak pst, kategorikan, lalu bikin Rules. Misal, bikin foler "Attachment dari Sales A" dan "Attachment dari Sales B", dan lain-lain, masing masing folder tersebut gunakan 1 file pst. Caranya gampang, di Outlook - File - Data File Management - Add Lalu tambah Rules : "Apply this rule after the message arrives, which has an attachment and with a size at least 50 and the most 50000 kilobytes, with [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the sender's address move it to the "Attachment dari Sales A" Folder and stop processing more rules" Dan seterusnya. Dengan demikian, membagi beban file pst, tidak di satu inbox.pst tapi di beberapa pst Masalahnya timbul... di menentukan rules nya dan kalau email itu berupa group discussion, rules nya nggak jalan. Tapi yaaa bisa dicoba :) Please let me know if you still have problem.. we can discuss it.
