Dear Binusian,

Do you have any idea on Network monitoring tools?

I am looking for some tools (say software to be run on a PC) that can monitor
the quantity of packet IN / OUT of a VLAN on a D-Link Network switch.

I have a situation here that we encountered packet lost on a Video recording
system.

I have 24-port switches stacked together. On a typical 24 ports switch is set
up for 4 VLANs, each with 6 Ports. In each typical VLAN, 1 Port is connected to
the Video Server, 4 Ports to the Video Encoder and 1 as spare.

1 larger VLAN with 24 ports is set up for connecting all the Servers and
viewing station.

I wonder if there was something wrong with the Network but I don¢t have any
tools to monitor it.

Regards,
Eric
