Hello fellow listers, Does anybody know how to draw a horizontal idiogram?
I am trying to draw the banding of mouse chr1. Its just what you see when you use the UCSC genome browser. No rocket science. I installed the library 'idiogram' and yet the drawings do not look like the G bands familiar to biologists. I want to make it obvious, like the UCSC. Biologists (not necessarily bioinformaticians) appreciate clarity.
