hi..... I'll advice that u should join phd gving preference to few things:-
1. Ur research interest 2. If u want to live near to ur home ( If this really matters to u) 3. Know about the lab in which u r joining like abt ur boss and facilities 4. jobs are good only after phd ...so u hv to do it :( CSIR JRF is always good in India.... for GRE i think if u r getting 80,000 per month then investing 2 lakhs is realy worth ,isnt :)? The questions comes about uncertainity that whthr u'll get good scores in GRE or not.....well that is applicable to CSIR too....whthr after getting the scholarship u'll land to good institute or not. I think, I m clear...define ur research interest and join accordingly.
