G'day all, I have a project that I think would work out nicely using suffix trees, and as I'm thinking of doing the project in either C or Java I thought I'd check out the bioJava source. From what I've seen I think I would have to modify/extend the SuffixTree source (still looking/thinking).
I found some references to suffix trees in the archives and noticed several suggestions that the SuffixTree code could use an overhaul, but no messages from anyone saying they had done so. Is anyone working on, or has anyone worked on the SuffixTree implementation lately? If anyone else has modified or extended the SuffixTree source, I'd love to take a look at their code. If not, we'll see if I produce anything. I've been looking at the source in the tarball available from the webCVS as I _assume_ this is pretty recent (apologias in advance if I'm mistaken).
