Dear prospective GSoC students,
There have been a considerable interest in the project. To help
selecting the best candidate I decided to make a short coding exercise
http://biojava.org/wiki/Short_coding_exercise.
The exercise is simple and should not take much of your time. That's
more you have a complete freedom in devising a solution!
Although it’s not required, I think it gives you an opportunity to show
your skills so I'd recommend you to have a go at it, besides it should
be fun.
