Life leaps like a geyser for those who drill through the rock of inertia. People who want the most approval get the least and people who need approval the least get the most. Unless one is taught what to do with success after getting it, achievement of it must inevitably leave him prey to boredom. So many signatures for such a small heart. In my room as a kid... I'd play a fighter and get knocked to the floor and come back to win. Everywhere I have sought rest and not found it, except sitting in a corner by myself with a little book. As a rule, I am very careful to be shallow and conventional where depth and originality are wasted. You can't start at the top.
