For the impatient ones who wish to run Bird 2.0.1 on FreeBSD;
in advance of the port commit you could:
cd /usr/ports # or custom path
fetch https://dns.company/stuff/bird/bird-2.0.1.shar
# or: fetch -o bird-2.0.1.shar --no-verify-peer
https://bz-attachments.freebsd.org/attachment.cgi\?id=191018
sh bird-2.0.1.shar
make -I net/bird2 install clean
