Hello All , Then maybe there a way to run the reload/restart(*) in a debug(or some) mode that will allow the dumping of the at that moments(*) config that was being read ?

        Just a thought .

Hey,

I understand.
Ok, I will just stick with comparing the timestamp of conf files and the last reload or restart shown in `birdc show status`.

Thanks anyway :)

Hello!
It is quite a difficult task to dump the current config. Somewhere on the roadmap, there is possibly a change of internal structures that would allow for more versatile config, yet it is neither simple nor quickly done.
So it is currently not possible, sorry.

Hi *,

Sorry if this was asked before but my googlefu didn't provide me
anything.

Is there in bird 1.7 (or in 2.0) a feature to show or dump the current
loaded/running config? If not: Is this on the roadmap somewhere? (Or is

it somehow complicated to translate the config back into the syntax
used
in the conf-file?)

Thanks.
Bernd
