For OSPF, is it possible to have router communications in a different subnet than for the next-hop IP addresses?
For example, running OSPF on an interface eth0 with IP address 10.0.0.1/24, and want to send an LS Update message with LSA for a network, with the Forwarding Address set to an IP address not on this subnet.
