1. Download Bird-2.14 from https://bird.network.cz/download/bird-2.14.tar.gz

2. tar -zxvf bird-2.14.tar.gz
3. cd bird-2.14
4. ./configure
5. gmake

Please try to build with the help of the ports tree[1].

BIRD 2.14 is available as net/bird2.
