Hello Douglas, we are working hard on fixing BMP (both in v2 and v3, there are quite some half-funny stories which we may share later) and regarding BIRD 3, there are several bugs like filter action restart doing weird things or show route export not working sometimes.
After this gets fixed, and judging by the state of BMP, I'm expecting to push out another alpha in a month or so, with a message like "now we consider this stable, please check".
