Andrew Keaveney has no access to a computer at present and asked me to post his sighting of a Western Sandpiper (his first ever in Ontario) at Presqu'ile. The bird was at Owen Point at about 6:15 this evening. This afternoon and again this evening a White-rumped Sandpiper was at Owen Point, the first of the season. It was seen by two observers. Follow the signs from Brighton to the Park. Owen Point is in the south-west corner of the Park and can be reached by walking in that direction from the park store.
