Hi, Birders.
This afternoon while returning from the Pinery, a bird
hopping along the wood pile caught my eye.
Before it flew off to search under my canoe,it was carefully
scrutinized through my binoculars. It turned out to be a Gray Catbird.
This is a complete surprise. None having been reported in this area
since the Fall migration.
The Carolina wren is still here and the Brown Thrasher and
White-crowned Sparrow are in Hungry Hollow near Arkona is still .
Good birding. Alf.
