This morning in North Lambton/Middlesex County boundary, Pete Chapman had his usual wintering birds including the THRASHER and a GOLDEN EAGLE. Also 15 ROBINS at his feederwith COWBIRDS REDWINGS and GRACKLES . Lance Allin had small flocks of KILLDEER overhead a Wawanosh Wetlands near Sarnia Airport. (A property purchased by Lambton Wildlife with a matching grant from the Province and Donated to the local Conservation Auth.) On Kettle Point, CANADA GEESE and RING-BILLED GULLS were moving North out over the solidly frozen lake at close to 2000 Feet (High up). The RBGs returned and followed the shoreline. We could find no TUNDRA SWANS this morning in the area of the Pinery. Just complete snow cover. However, ROBINS and REDWING BLACKBIRDS are all over the area and a single RED-BREASTED NUTHATCH wandered through the trees a Picnic Area #9 in the Park in addition to a single GRACKLE at the Visitor Center.
The best part of all this is that-THE DAY IS NOT YET OVER!
                                 Good Birding. Alf.
