Today Sunday April 6 there was a flight of Snow Geese (as well as Canadas of course) in the area north and east of the village of Lancaster as well as over the village itself. I first saw about two hundred above Cedar Grove Road near the junction with Route 34, 5 kms. north of Lancaster. As I was getting gas in Lancaster, another three to four hundred flew over with a few Canadas. East of Lancaster near the Bainsville overpass of the 401, there was another flock. This one was settling down on the fields north of the 401 at Bainsville. Once I got into Quebec, only Canadas were flying over.
Lancaster is at the second exit off the 401 east of of the Quebec border (Exit 814). Martin Bowman Williamstown, Glengarry Co., ON Martin Bowman <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
