For those who were curious as to how my search for Gray Partridge went at Brantford Airport, the answer is they stay on the nemesis list.
I spent roughly from 8:00 to 11:30 Friday AM looking. I made two laps of the airport itself as well as checked some of the nearby fields. There was snow/ice on some fields which aided the search, but there were enough parftially bare fields that the birds probably had enough places to hide. There were also some heavy duty snow removal activities with bulldozers on the airport grounds, so that probably kept some of the birds out of the open. Other birds seen were horned lark, killdeer, meadowlark (heard), Savannah sparrow, northern harrier, and the more expected species. Thanks once more to all who provided info.
