I did some birding today with a couple of fellow birders at Thickson
woods and these are the birds we came up with. Yellow-rumped warbler-1,
Yellow-bellied sapsucker -3, Common flicker-5, Hermit thrush-1, Carolina
wren-1, Eastern phoebe-1, Winter wren-1, Golden crowned kinglet-10, Tree
swallow-3, and Belted kingfisher-4
.
To get to Thickson woods take hwy. 401 to Thickson rd.in Whitby and go
south on Thickson to the lake. The woods is on the left side at the
lake.
