The day started with a windy 8°C and dropped to 5°C and finally gained again to 7°C. The skies were cloudy throughout the day with high humidity. A little drizzle in the morning made for a particulary unpleasant hour. Observations: In spite of the weather the winds blew over a good group of Turkey Vultures and Sharp-shinned Hawks. The day was balanced out with an Osprey, 2 female Northern Harriers, a few Cooper's Hawks, Red-tailed Hawks and a couple of American Kestrels. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Bill Brown () Beamer Conservation Area, Grimsby, ON information may be found at: http://www.hwcn.org/link/niaghawk/index.html Beamer Conservation Area is located on top of the Niagara Escarpment above the town of Grimsby, Ontario.
