Hi all, Migration has obviously been a bit slow this year, but Steve Charbonneau and I did find some migrants this morning. Most notable was a BLACK-ANDWHITE-WARBLER on Spicebush Trail (near beginning). There were also at least a dozen Yellow-rumped Warblers there. Several Ruby-crowned Kinglets were evident throughout the park, as well as Hermit Thrushes and a few Brown Thrashers. One Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher was on South Point Trail, and I caught sight of a probable Swainson's Thrush on Tulip Tree Trail. A number of White-throated Sparrows were also in the park as well as a couple of lingering Fox Sparrows. Last weekend a large number of Vesper Sparrows were migrating through, but none were evident today. Tomorrow promises to be a better day!
Rondeau Park is found at the south end of Chatham-Kent Rd. 15. ________________________________ Blake A. Mann Wallaceburg, Chatham-Kent, Ont. email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] "Blake Mann" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
