At 5:30 pm Saturday April 26 a Cattle Egret in breeding plumage was reported by Tom Hurst in a newly ploughed field on the NW corner of the intersection of County Rd 12 and County Rd 20 (= Seacliffe Dr) in Essex County. This is approx 4 km from Hillman Marsh Conservation Area on the Point Pelee peninsula.
