Hi Fellow Birders, Earlier this morning I sent out a posting. In it I had indicated that "A steady procession of Rough-legged Hawk are streaming and kettling across the city as I type this (10:48am)".
It should have read "A steady procession of Broad-winged Hawk are streaming and kettling across the city as I type this (10:48am)". I don't know why I typed Rough-legged...but weirder things have happened. I apologize if I caused any confusion. Just to note...this past weekend large numbers of Broad-winged Hawk were observed flying over the area by myself and other local birders in the area.
