Wayne Renaud and I birded the Long Point Area. In total, we saw around 80 species in about 10 hours.
Highlights were a red-headed woodpecker, warbling vireo and blue-headed vireo close to where the picnic benches are currently stored in the park. Warblers were present but not in large numbers or variety. We managed to see yellow-rumped, black-throated green, palm, black and white and yellow warbler. A bobolink flew over us as we were looking for shorebirds at the Causeway. Long Point is found south of Simcoe follow # 24 south to # 59 straight on to the park ( or page # 10 in Mapart Ont road atlas ) Good Birding Jacques Giraud "Jacques Giraud" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Visit http://www.ofo.ca/ontbirdsguide.htm for information on leaving and joining the list.
