May 10 - Lasalle Woods A surprisingly productive walk along the stream in Lasalle Woods this afternoon. Several warblers were present; Yellow, Yellow Rumped, Blackburian, Blue Winged, Black and White, Chestnut Sided, Magnolia, Palm, Black Throated Blue, Black Throated Green and an American Redstart.
Other birds included; Blue Headed Vireo, Ruby Throated Hummingbird, lots of Baltimore Orioles and even a Great White Egret in the small pond near Brunett Park. Lasalle Woods is located on Normandy between Malden Road and Huron Church Line.
