Forwarding this for Bruce Di Labio This morning, Sunday May 11th at 7 am, there was an orange variant Ruff at the Embrum sewage lagoons. This bird was reported last night as well by other observers.
Directions to Embrum Sewage Lagoons >From Ottawa head east on the 417 and exit at #79 which is marked Limoges/Embrum. This is Regional Road 5. Head south on #5 until you come to Regional Road #3 also called Notre Dame Street. Turn right (west) and travel 2.8 kilometres to St Joseph Street. Turn left (south) and continue to Route 400. Turn left (east) on 400 and drive about 1 kilometre. Lagoons are on your left (north) side of the road.
