Fellow Birders,

ORIOLES are as thick as flies here by Newcastle. BALTIMORE ORIOLES (12),
ORCHARD ORIOLES (4) and possibly HOODED OR SCOT'S ORIOLES. One of the
unidentified ORIOLES did not know how to feed him/herself from the feeder
and ended up picking away at the cranberries on a shrub in our yard. The
GRAY CATBIRD too was helping himself in the Cranberry Bush.

BOBOLINKS were many in numbers by Whitby Mental Health Center in addition to
several WHITE CROWNED SPARROWS & NORTHERN MOCKING BIRDS.

Directions: Mill St. S. exit on # 401 by Newcastle and for the BOBOLINKS,
SPARROWS & NORTHERN MOCKING BIRDS, highway # 12 south to Victoria west to
Gordon St. And you must have a peak at the red & white Trilliums in full
bloom at Lynde Shores Conservation Area off Victoria west of Gordon St. And
do not forget to take in the Lunar Eclipse up in the sky this Thursday
beginning at 10:00 P.M.
