To hear and see a SORA in a tree just inside the woods was a thrill for a
few birders at 10AM on May 15 in Thickson's Woods.  Other birds for the
morning included the following:

Rose-breasted Grosbeak-3
Blue-headed Vireo-2
Warbling Vireo-1

R-t Hummingbird-1
Wood Thrush-1
Lincol's Sparrow-1
Scarlet Tanager-1

Thickson's Woods is near the base of Thickson's Rd. in southwest Whitby, ON,
accessed from the 401.
