Mark Ansell, Bill Gilmour and I conducted the weekly Presqu'ile IBA shorebird survey between 7.39 a.m. and 8.48 a.m. today, May 22. Most of the birds were seen between Beach 3 and Owen Point.
56 Dunlin 33 Least 13 S.P. Plovers 6 Ruddy Turnstone 3 B.B. Plovers 2 Spotted Sandpipers 1 Sanderling 1 Killdeer plus 2 unidentified birds in flight over the water - for a total of 117 birds.
