Hi, Birders.
On the 28th. a COMMON LOON flew down Lake Huron and landed just off shore. On the 29th. 8 LEAST SANDPIPERS flew in and landed on the reef. On the 30th. at GRAND BEND SEWAGE LAGOONS there were --1 Gt. YELLOWLEGS, 4 LESSER YELLOWLEGS and 5 LEAST SANDPIPERS. ( As a PS. N. Lambton Co. has virtually no UPLAND SANDPIPERS, MEADOWLARKS or VESPER SPARROWS. All 'Mid field nesters' Happily the UK. farmers mow from the center out so that birds- especially CORNCRAKES, can gain shelter and not be killed on the final cut.)
     Good BIRDING. Alf Rider.
Kettle Point is just off Highway 21 just N. of Forest Ont.
