Last evening Terrie Smith and I atlassed the north Westney Road area and
found many good birds including:

YB Cuckoo with food, several Blue-winged Warblers with food, Grasshopper,
Savannah and Field Sparrow with food, Kingfisher nest, Rough-winged and Bank
Swallow nest and best of all a Brewster's Warbler [male - no food]. All in
all we confirmed about 12 species in two hours.

401 to Brock Road of Pickering. North to Claremont. East on Durham
Rd. 5 (which is also called Myrtle Road if you start further east from
Myrtle).
At Westney Rd., about 3 minute drive from Brock Road (look for Spring
Creek golf course near SE corner), turn north. You'll soon come to an
old stone bridge. Go north 2.3 km. north of bridge to Bluebird Trail on
west side of road. The GWW and BWW were both heard and seen at the
beginning of the trail, not far from the road.
