Dear Ontbirders,

Bruce Di Labio and I went down to Presqu'ile late this afternoon and had
good success with 327 shorebirds of 13 species.  Most birds are along
the shore of Beach 3 and 4 but birds are scattered right up to Owen Pt.
There were juv's of Killdeer, Spotted S/p, Least S/p, the first Semi S/p
of the fall that I have noticed, and Lesser Yellowlegs.

14 Spotted S/p
1 Ruddy Turnstone
1 Red Knot
69 Sanderling
104 Semi S/p
69 Least S/p

Directions:  Presqu'ile is best found by taking the Hwy 30 exit (#509)
from Hwy 401 and travel south through the town of Brighton.  Follow
Provincial Park signs to Presqu'ile and park at Beach 3 or the Park
Store to access the shorebird habitat.
