Weather: Finally some great clouds BUT the wind stayed W to WSW for the day and as a result we didn't get a large flight. Temp hit 25. Observations: Some nice birds today with a bit of variety. The raptor live bird demos had some excellent birds especially in the afternoon 2 PM show with Male and Female Kestrels, Male and Female Sharp-shinned, Juvenile Harrier and a nice Immature Redtail. An early arrival today provided some nice warbler sitings along with vireos, grosbeaks, towhees, red bellied woodpecker and a few hummingbirds. Predictions: E to SE winds with warm temps and few clouds could make for a tough day. However, given the counts I saw tonight from Metro Park south of Detroit of 8000* Broadwings today I have to figure there'll be more push through tomorrow no matter what the wind. Guess we'll just have to wait and see :) ======================================================================== Report submitted by Dave Brown ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) Hawk Cliff Hawkwatch information may be found at: http://www.ezlink.on.ca/~thebrowns/HawkCliff/index.htm Hawk Cliff Hawkwatch: Oldest Hawkwatch in Ontario - since 1931 - located just east of Port Stanley on the cliff overlooking Lake Erie [EMAIL PROTECTED] Visit http://www.ofo.ca/ontbirdsguide.htm for information on leaving and joining the list.
