Observations: It seems that with this unstable air mass and high winds in advance of tonights forecast frontal system that many of the birds decided to stay put for the day. The flight was very, very slow highlighted by the 5 Peregrine Falcons (all adults) seen between 11am and 12 pm. Predictions: Hopefully, this front out of Minnesota will bring a large push of birds as it is suppose to bring freezing temperatures to that part of the continent. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Calvin Brennan ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) SMRR- Lake Erie Metropark information may be found at: http://www.smrr.net/ The primary site used by Southeastern Michigan Raptor Research (SMRR) is the Boat Launch at Lake Erie Metropark located approximately 20 miles south of Detroit, Michigan.
