Ontbirders:
Today we birded Erie Beach Park (Waverly Beach) in the driving rain which
turned up nothing of interest. A short walk down the
beach, however, turned up a dead Black-capped Petrel. It was in very good
condition and must have died recently.

DIRECTIONS:
From the Peace Bridge, follow the lake shore about 1/2 mile south of the
bridge and turn right just before the fort entrance. Go 1/2 to 1 mile to
Helena Road and turn left to Waverly Beach. Follow a short distance to the
parking lot at the end of the road and look from the park on the left.
