Observation start time: 08:00:00
Observation end time: 16:00:00
Total observation time: 7.5 hours

Official Counter: Keith Sealy

Observers: Barry Cherriere, Linda

Weather:
Lots of cloud and a moderate wind from the NW...always a good wind for a
decent flight at Hawk Cliff. Temp only made it to 14.

Observations:
Wow....what a great flight today!! Lots of good birds with 563 Sharpies and
390 Kestrels!!...and it appears there were still a few Broadwings around
as the counters got another 682 today. Of note was the fact that there was
only a single Peregrine...which makes me think that I want to be there for
the next strong SW wind...and it looks like Friday Oct 3rd might just be
the day if the current forecast holds....keep your fingers crossed!!!

Predictions:
Winds are forecast to be W and moderate to light...however after a day of
solid NW winds today to bring the birds down to the lake tomorrow may
bring a further push of birds.
