Hi, Ont Birders.
Today, Friday, there were two PINE SISKINS at the feeder in the front of the Visitor Center in the Pinery Provincial Park. "Could two Pine Siskins a Winter make?"

Also at the V.C. feeders were Purple Finches, Chipping, White-crowned and White -throated Sparrows. At Kettle Point a Red-throated Loon fought to fly into the wind while a LAPLAND LONGSPUR hopped on the beach with five Horned Larks. With the winds tending to turn Northerly on Saturday, we might get some more pelagics at Point Edward. The Pinery is situated on Highway 21 a few Kms South of Grand Bend Ontario. Point Edward is at the end of L. Huron. The end of Fort St. is the best place to look for Gulls etc.
Kettle Point is off Highway 21 between Grand Bend and Forest.
                                Good Birding. Alf.
