These conditions along with a heavy haze that limited visibility throughout the day made birds difficult to detect. Observations: The early flight line was just south of the count area but quickly changed to the north when the breezes kicked up. Much of the late morning and afternoon was spent scanning the sky well to the north of the boat launch. TV numbers were lower than expected today perhaps as they were pushed beyond view or maybe that particularly well has dried up a bit after the huge movements over the last several days. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Calvin Brennan ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) SMRR- Lake Erie Metropark information may be found at: http://www.smrr.net/ The primary site used by Southeastern Michigan Raptor Research (SMRR) is the Boat Launch at Lake Erie Metropark located approximately 20 miles south of Detroit, Michigan.
