This Friday Oct.10 day was warm, sunny and mild, not conducive to any
significant raptor passage, BUT over a period of 4 hours we had great
close-up views of 1 Peregrine, 1 Osprey, 1 1-yr.old Bald Eagle, 2
Red-shouldered Hawks, 1 Merlin among 27 migrants.

In the field to the west of Hall's Rd. were 2 SNOW GEESE. Flying with the
great numbers of Canada Geese were 2 more Snow Geese, AND at 1220EST a BLUE
GOOSE circled around the wetlands for 10 minutes.

Several passes were made by 4 DOWITCHERS during the AM.

Cranberry Marsh is at the foot of Hall's Rd. in southwest Whitby; Hall's is
accessed south from Victoria St. and is 1 block east of Lakeridge Rd.
