The Iroquois Shoreline RW is manned by 3 stalwards as much as possible. The combined Oct.23 & 24 totals were 29 TV, 23 Sharpies, 1 Cooper's, 49 Red-shouldered, 255 Red-tailed, 15 Rough-legged, 2 Kestrel, 1 Merlin and 1 Golden Eagle for a total of 346 migrating raptors. Mike Williamson, Graham Nord and Martin Bence would love to have more people visit the platform which sits astride the old Lake Iroquois shoreline under the Hydro towers at the east end of Heber Down CA-- from hy.7, south down Ashburn to Spencer, parking on the roadside, walk in westward along a trail, through some cedars, and then up a slope to the platform.
