Hi Ontbirds people,
Today (Oct. 28), there was an early pair of Barrow's Goldeneye (the male
actively following the female) on the Ottawa River at the Remic Rapids
lookout. Also present here were 16 Brant, small numbers of Lesser Scaup &
Common Goldeneye and 4 Common Mergansers.
DIRECTIONS:
Take Hwy 417 to the Parkdale exit (#122). Go north on Parkdale to the
Ottawa River Parkway, then west on the Parkway to Remic Rapids Lookout
("look out" for the large sign on your right!). Ample room in the parking
lot, and a good view of the river.
