Hello Ontbirds People Today at 11:30am Tom Hanrahan and I watched, among thousands of Canada Geese, a flock of about 130 Brant and 2 White-fronted Geese.
Lots of Common Goldeneye were there as well. Directions to Ottawa Beach, also known as Andrew Haydon Park East Access is from Carling Avenue, east of Holly Acres Road or west of Pinecrest. Shortly after the Carling/Bayshore intersection, continue west along Carling to a small parkland with play structures and a view of the Ottawa River.
