good day to all!

little river still holds lots of birds. i'm almost positive i had the
clay-coloured randy reported a week or so back, just a fleeting glimpse
though.

also present:

hermit thrush
rufous sided towhee (1)
field sparrow
song sparrow
swamp sparrow
fox sparrow (2)
tree sparrow
white thr. sparrow
white crowned sparrow
coopers hawk
robin (5+)
american pipit (12+ - flyover)
cedar waxing (10+)
red winged blackbird
golden crowned kinglet
brown creeper

and at the mouth of little river, on peche island:

bald eagle (2 adult)
belted kingfisher
many cormorants, and bonapartes gull

not a bad little afternoon.

now enough of this 70 degree november days, bring on the snow!

to quote randy: "The Ganatchio Trail/Little River area is best accessed by
driving east on
Little River Road from Lauzon, or taking Riverside Drive East and going
south on Riverdale to Little River Road."
