As Howard Shapiro reported very recently this is the Fox Sparrow season for
certain. Today at 0930 I saw 11 Fox Sparrows at one time on the path close
to the CMRW platform-- indeed, all were within a 4m. path length, scratching
at the path's offerings--seeds laid by humans.
The strong east winds did not bring migrating raptors through-- I stayed for
2 hours, one in the AM, one in early afternoon--- 3 Red-taileds.
