I'm posting this report from Beryl Laugher, who is not on-line:

1 blue morph SNOW GOOSE was seen Nov. 5, 2003, in Collingwood, at the mouth
of Batteaux Creek where it enters Georgian Bay.

Also present:
About 100 CANADA GEESE, one with a green neck band (with white letters) from
Michigan.
GREATER YELLOWLEGS - 5
DUNLIN - 60
GREEN-WINGED TEAL

At the same location on October 27, 2003, two (2) adult and one (1) juvenile
white morph SNOW GEESE were seen together ; these were not seen on Nov. 5.

A LITTLE GULL was also seen there about 2 weeks ago.

Directions: At the east end of Collingwood, from Highway 26 turn toward
Georgian Bay onto Huronia Pathway (this is on the Collingwood side of Blue
Mountain Chrysler which is on the Bay side of Hwy 26). Turn right onto
Georgian Manor Drive (sign says "no exit"). Go to end of road. On the left
side is a spit with some trees, near the mouth of Batteaux Creek. This is
where the geese were seen.
