Sat.Nov.8-- many, many people from far & wide, but disappointment,
presumably because of the very low overnight temp., the Cave Swallow did not
show at Cranberry Marsh, Whitby, between 8AM and 3PM.

I left shortly thereafter with someone's TRIPOD & SCOPE (I have it)-- please
email me and/or come to the platform on Sun. Nov.9 before 12 noon.

The Hawk Watch was very successful-347 mostly high-flyers, were picked out
by oh so very many volunteers, the data being collected by Jerry
Walsh---thanks to all: highlights- 292 Red-tailed incl 1 Dark, 7
Rough-legged, 4 Red-shouldered,
1 Bald Eagle and 4 GOLDEN EAGLES.

The CMRW is at the base of Hall's Rd., accessed from Victoria St. in
southwest Whitby.
