Hi, Late this afternoon along Earl Armstrong Road there were numerous raptors including light and dark phase Rough-legged Hawks, male and female Northern Harriers and 2 Red-tailed Hawks. At dusk, 3 Short-eared Owls appeared and immediately dive bombed the harriers until they drove them away. There were also several flocks of Snow Buntings totaling at least 500. Amongst the buntings were several Lapland Longspurs. Also present was a small flock of Horned Larks. A lone Great Blue Heron flew past as the sun set.
