This morning on a field trip with the Bruce Birding Club we spotted nine Greater White-fronted Goose in a corn field with a flock of Canada Geese. The group got good looks at the geese from the side of the road as they fed on the corn stuble in the field. Later in the day two Blue phase Snow Geese were located at Cape Croker. The Greater White Frontyed Geese were seen on Lakeshore Drive northeast of Annan. To get there take Grey County Rd. #15 from Hwy #26 west of Owen Sound Travel to Annan and continue on Lakeshore Dr. to residence at Fire # 439079 approx. 1 km northeast of Annan. The geese were feeding in the field opposite the driveway. To get to Cape Croker follow Bruce County Rd. #9 west from Hwy. #6 north of Wiarton through the village of Colpoys Bay. Turn Right onto County Rd. #18 and left on Purple Valley Rd. and then right on McIver Rd to Cape Croker. Then left around the Bay. Mike Pickup [EMAIL PROTECTED] "Mike Pickup" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
