Wayne Renauld and I birded the Niagara River area today. Highlights of the trip were 3 common loons, 1 horned grebe and about 18 tundra swans. We didn't see any interesting gulls but didn't try to hard either.
The tundra swans were about half way between the Falls and Ft. Erie (around #2500). The common loon and horned grebe were at the first park north of the Peace Bridge just outside of Ft. Erie.
